Sakura Artwork

We've made a sakura artwork from a recycled bottle as a stamp and pink water color. First, I drew the branches on a card stock paper using blue marker pen. I poured the pink water color into a clear bowl.  Then dipped the recycled bottle into the bowl. And then pressed it onto the paper. Done! You'll have a very beautiful art. Let see how my girls did it. {Source}

Magnificent Magnet

We had color sorting activity with paper clips and popsicle sticks.  Instead of sorting color, I can explain how the magnets work as well.  They were really excited when they saw the paper clips automatically attached to the magnet piece. Enjoy the activity!
What we need: paper clips, jumbo popsicle sticks, Sharpie, and magnet tack piece.
Sort the paper clips according to the color of the sticks.  (They got excited seeing how the magnet works.)
To add more fun, get the trouble maker into the activity.  See how Iyra distracted their focus.
Iris was a bit bored with the activity.  She knows color and sorting them out wasn't her favorite anymore.
Iesha enjoyed it.  She managed to sort for three sticks.
We have red, yellow, green and blue cute sticks.

Great work of Iris.  She created the colorful stick so she can stick more colors on.  Well done, Iris.  This is a great after-class innovation.

Fairytale Mansion

Last month we did fairytale mansions from used milk cartons.  All we need were Sharpies and creative minds (moods perhaps).  So enjoy the photos!
This is my mansion.

The residents: Cinderella, Upin & Ipin, Thumbelina and many more.

This is Iris's mansion.

Teka jari siapa yang sangat menawan ni?

Lots of stories on your third birthday, Iesha.  It was the day we recalled your arrival, on the last three years.  How I wish you were still a baby minus the diaper changing part.  It was the day we celebrated it so simple with two slices of cakes because Bapak was not here with us! Guess where Bapak was?  He did his ultimate duty as a good citizen to cast his vote because 5.5.2013 is GE13 as well!  He flied to Kedah just to have his finger dipped blue.  You have to remember this day Iesha because it was so special!

Iesha, you are 3!

You are three!
I love you, I love you, I love you!
Not enough?
Iesha, I love youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.

Iris's First Sporting Event

Iris had her first sport's day on 20th of April 2013 in Taman Tun with all of her school friends.  This was definitely one of the first events of my girls that I waited for.  But guess what? I can't be with her to be her pom-pom girl due to the weekend class that I need to attend. And so I have made a long arrangement with Nek Ma and we flied her from Kelantan just to replace me. I hoped she still got that support she needed from Bapak and the other two little monsters.

I couldn't stay calm in my class when my lecturer gave that boring lecture.  I texted Bapak once in every two minutes to whatsapp me Iris's photos.  I was so shocked when I saw Iris in her slippers instead of sport shoes.  How could she run with that slippers?  I meant like seriously?  I was even shocked when I saw Iyra in her pyjamas? A total ruin.  I am definitely an everything, from a fashion police to a teacher (and yes a screaming mother).

Then I saw her leading with that spoon and ping pong ball.  I was amazed.  In spite of the fashion disaster, she did really well.  She led her team!  I know Bapak had done his part really well, too.  He was there to support while I can't.  Later after the class Iris told me her excitement in her first sport's day.  She got a cute tiny bolster for the games she won. (Later I realized that every kid got that same bolster).

Iris, I may have missed your first sporting event, but I was so very sure that you have enjoyed every second of it!

Iris with her friend, Batrisya.

She was leading!

My girl, my girl!

If I were there.

The supporters.
