According to the doctors, our appointment was actually on September 8th, 2008. We are going to meet each other on that date which is the birthday of arwah Bapak’s father. But we cannot resist meeting each other and you were coming out eight days earlier! And yet you have made our special appointment even more special when you were coming out on our country’s independence day, which was on August 31st 2008! You are definitely a Merdeka baby! And according to the doctor, you are Merdeka baby number two at Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan, Kuantan! We should have wrapped you with Jalur Gemilang! Oh, how indie you are!

Now I really have something to celebrate on 31st August every coming year. We can go to the parade and Mummy sure make you the Merdeka outfit from the Jalur Gemilang. And we are not going to sing that ordinary birthday song on your birthday, since Bapak and I already composed a new one for you. Enjoy it!
