We had so much fun to KL Bird Park on 17th of February 2013. I was about to hand them notebooks and cameras, but since they are still toddlers, perhaps I need to wait for another four years for them to write and snap what they saw. Of course any field trips would provide leaning opportunities to the kids since they are directly engaged with the scene. Few weeks before the trip they have watched The Rio Movie which features lots of exotic and common birds. They were so thrilled as the birds they saw in the movie and read in the books came alive as they were seen, heard and even felt.
It's worth every ringgit we spent. They are so many weird birds you may think do not exist in this world. Iesha was very terrified with the peacocks. They loved to show off their feathers whenever we came near them with the camera. Iesha was so scared which turned out this trip a tragedy for her. But after a while, she can accept the walking birds. However, we did have a fun trip! Fly fly and away! You may check the admission fee here.
