Okay, this was a year ago. Oh, how times fly! But I share it anyway, for the purpose of memory and sharing. We love 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' and for that reason, we came out with this enjoyable activity; the egg carton caterpillar! All we needed were egg carton, paint in green and pink, paintbrush, pear, apple (or any foodstuffs that the caterpillar had eaten on the book), and creativity.

| We colored the body green. |
 |
| We colored the head pink. |
 |
| We glued the eyes, nose and tentacles on the pink head. |
 |
| We bit the pear. |
 |
| And we shared it with our caterpillars. |
